Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on iOS in Chile - Q4 2022

Throughout the fourth quarter of 2022, the top five carpooling and ridesharing apps in Chile on the iOS platform demonstrated diverse trends in downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at how these apps performed:

Request a ride saw a notable rise in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 6.9K in late September and peaking at around 16.2K by the end of October. This was followed by another peak in late December reaching about 13.7K. Active users also showed an upward trend, growing from roughly 246K to 277K by mid-December before dropping to around 239K by the end of the year.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides experienced fluctuations in its weekly downloads, with an initial increase from 5.2K to 11.6K in October. Downloads then varied, ending the quarter at approximately 8.9K. Active users peaked at around 324K in mid-December, despite a decline towards the end of the year to about 262K.

Cabify showed a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 2.9K and reaching around 9.5K by the end of December. The number of active users followed a similar trend, increasing from about 37K to 56K over the quarter.

inDrive. Save on city rides saw steady weekly downloads, beginning at around 3.5K and peaking at approximately 6.1K by the end of December. Active users also grew consistently, from about 34K to 41K by the end of the quarter.

Beat Passenger: Find your ride experienced modest weekly downloads, starting from approximately 1.6K and ending the quarter at around 1.2K. Active users showed a slight decline, from about 31.6K in October to approximately 27.2K by the end of December.
